2026 Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Endorse Kerry Roberts

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. — The Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association has endorsed Senator Kerry Roberts for reelection to the Tennessee Senate.

Representing approximately 7,100 active and retired members through 35 affiliated organizations across Tennessee, the association serves professional firefighters, fire prevention personnel, fire instructors, emergency medical service professionals, dispatchers, and others working in emergency services.

In announcing the endorsement, association president Matthew Tomek said the organization supports candidates who listen to firefighters and address issues affecting their health, safety, and profession.

“Receiving the support of Tennessee’s professional firefighters is a tremendous honor,” Roberts said. “These men and women place themselves in harm’s way to protect our families and communities. Their work deserves our gratitude, respect, and continued support.”

The association also expressed its desire to continue working with Roberts on legislation affecting firefighters, emergency medical service professionals, and public safety throughout Tennessee.

Roberts represents Tennessee Senate District 23, which includes Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, and Stewart counties.

The endorsement was issued June 12 by the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association.
